ESL Grateful Goodwill 2018

January 5, 2019

On December 17, 2018, the ESL Instructors played Santa and visited the pediatric wards of Baliwag District Hospital and Malolos Provincial Hospital to spread the holiday cheer with gifts from our very generous ESLian learners.

This is the second time that ESL has organized a charity drive for pediatric patients. The first time was held at the Philippine General Hospital in 2016, though what sets Grateful Goodwill 2018 apart is that it is the first step in ESL’sĀ formal foray into the social responsibility terrain, and with God’s guidance there will likely be more Grateful Goodwill programs to come.

We are overwhelmed with the love and support that ESL receives from the communities that we are a part of, and while we are confident that we have helped many a child build their confidence and competence through our tried-and-tested programs, we are also deeply aware and concerned by the fact that there still remains hundreds, if not thousands, that remain unreachable by the current system. As such, we have decided to take the initiative through Grateful Goodwill to touch as many hearts and impact as many lives as possible.

Thank you for being our partners in spreading our Grateful Goodwill, ESLians! We hope for your continuous support so we can expand the reach of our helping hands more and more.
