Extending ESLian Hospitality to Foreign Language Learners

December 12, 2018

Foreign students opt to learn English elsewhere, such as in the Philippine setting, for a variety of reasons, which a 2017 study presented by Imanda & Mufidah at the International Seminar on English Language Teaching and Research identified as an interest in broadening their vocabulary, sharpening their listening comprehension skill, improving their pronunciation and speaking ability, and being corrected by a teacher to expand their English aptitude. All of these can be feasibly achieved in the quaint Bulacan locations of ESL Learning Center, which have played host to a number of international students hailing from countries such as Japan, South Korea, and even Egypt!

As former US first lady Michelle Obama once said, studying abroad is not just about whether you can compete with your peers in other countries to make your country stronger. It's about whether you can come together and work together with them to make our world stronger. It's about the friendships you make, the bonds of trust you establish and the image of your country that you project to the rest of the world. That being said, ESL Learning Center's doors are wide open for any and all foreign students who aspire to become more fluent in English and be able to participate with full confidence and competence in their academic classes.
